Tuesday Night’s “Ride to Open Sky”
Written by BFrazier on July 23, 2008 – 1:42 pm -The Tuesday evening ride out of High Point proved to be a “Ride to Open Sky” rather than the normal planned route. Storms popped up everywhere once the ride rolled out into the country. The course route changed at almost every stop sign and course direction was determined by riding in any direction that was going away from the lighting. As a result, the ride leadership changed continually to anyone that declared “I know where we are now”. It turned out to be a great ride. Everyone returned dry and no one was dropped or lost. The most positive take away was that we now have a new route to ride.
