VeloProject.com Riders Set New Category Records at Lowe’s Motor Speedway
Wednesday, August 20th, 2008 |David Stevens and David Ellefson set new category records for the 10 mile time trial at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on August 13th. David Stevens time was 21:12.96 trimming 8.38 seconds from the previous record of 21:21.34 for Masters 55+ set by Ron Gillespie on August 23, 2006. David Ellefson rode a 23:38.06 beating his own record of 23:56.67 for Men 70-74 that he set back on April 9, 2008. David Ellefson set the category record for Men 70-74 in April smashing the previous record of 27:20.99 set by Herb Brown on August 2, 2007 by 3:24.32.
