To anyone interested in the March 8 ride from Oak Ridge Elementary, I look forward to seeing everyone. We'll do the route via Dillard for those of you who've done that, which is appox a 70 mile round trip. That's 772 up to Dillard, west to Danbury and Hanging Rock, and back thru Walnut Cove. I picked a 10:30 start time because Saturday won't be as warm as it's been and there's a chance of showers overnight and into the morning. I doubt I cancel the ride unless it's actually raining at 10:30 since I live close enough to Oak Ridge Elementary to ride there anyways and see if anyone shows up. If the weather looks bad we may all decide to modify the plan. Bill's ride e-mail says the pace is going to be around 18 mph.....my first trip up to Hanging Rock each year is always a humbling experience and I'm reminded that my cyclocomputer is allergic to Stokes County and always reads a little slow for some reason. We'll plan to regroup a few times also. Hope to see you there, Mike
