This posting is very late, but, I just found out about this meeting when I referenced another website.
Tonight at the Millis Rehab Center (600 North Elm Street, High Point, NC 27262), the Department of Transportation will be showing a film called "Contested Streets". It is story of how large cities around the world have incorporated bikes, scooters, and other "non-auto" vehicles into their transportation network.
It lasts about an hour, starting at 6:30 pm. The DOT is hopeful local citizens will be interested enough to come and voice opinions and thoughts on how our area might do some of the same.
Please plan to attend if you are available. If it rains, the Thursday night High Point ride will automatically be moved the Millis Rehab Center !!
