Today We Ride For Dave Sherman

A ride to honor our friend Dave Sherman
Sunday, November 15, 2009

25 and 50 mile routes
Start/Finish at The Fitness Center @ High Point Regional Hospital in Downtown High Point, NC

Anyone who ever rode with Dave Sherman quickly discovered that he was passionate about the sport of cycling. More importantly, they learned that Dave was an incredible human being. When Dave was struck down while riding on Saturday, October 24, 2009, the world suffered a tremendous loss. Friends of Dave, cycling enthusiasts, and anyone else touched by the story of this remarkable man are encouraged to gather on Sunday, November 15, 2009 to honor and celebrate Dave.

Both rides will start at 1:30 pm.
Location:
The Fitness Center at High Point Regional Hospital (off Lindsay Street in High Point, NC).
Route:
25 and 50 mile routes will be available, riding into beautiful Randolph County and the Caraway Mountain area. Ride support is provided by Sealy Mattress Inc.
Fee:
The ride is free but contributions to the "Yield to Life" (yieldtolife.org) cycling safety advocacy group will be accepted in Dave’s name. Those wishing to contribute should bring a check made out to the Dave Sherman Memorial Fund.
